The ALGA is the national voice of local government representing more than 700 councils across the country. Clean Up Australia continues to work with the ALGA to maximise the support of Councils, while also providing an important forum for recognising the outstanding efforts of Councils nationally.

Girl Guides Australia

Guides provide a non-formal education program that is a dynamic, flexible and values-based training in life skills, decision making and leadership. Care of the environment is important and an ongoing concern for Girl Guides Australia. Girl Guides Australia actively supports Clean Up Australia with thousands of Guides collecting rubbish from parks, beaches and roadsides across the country.

Fire and Rescue NSW

The partnership between Fire and Rescue (FRNSW) and Clean Up Australia Day contributes to a safer and cleaner environment, demonstrating FRNSW's commitment to community and environmental protection.

FRNSW is responsible for preventing and responding to fire emergencies, protecting 90 percent of the State's population in the major cities, metropolitan areas and towns across rural and regional areas.

 

Scouts Australia

Scouts Australia’s mission is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Promise and Law, to help build a better world, where people are self fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society. Today’s Scouts take part in a wide range of outdoor activities as well as getting involved in leadership development, community service and environmental projects.

Scouts Australia actively supports Clean Up Australia with thousands of Scout Groups collecting rubbish from parks, beaches and roadsides across the country.
