2010 is the 20th anniversary of Clean Up Australia Day and our communication and advertising will be focusing around the concept of JUST 1, such as:
‘If each and every Australian picks up JUST 1 piece of rubbish, over 20 million pieces of rubbish would be picked up. Be JUST 1 and register for Clean Up Australia Day 2010 now'
Team Just 1 will be a consortium of businesses that want to make a difference and get involved at a higher level than a Business Supporter.
Members of ‘Team Just 1' will:- Actively encourage more sustainable business practices throughout their network.
- Encourage their stakeholders to participate in Clean Up Australia Day by registering a Clean Up site.
- Pledge a $10,000 donation to Clean Up Australia Day.
The key benefits to the company will be:
- An invitation to send up to two representatives to an exclusive half day workshop on how to green your business. There, they will work with a team of speakers including Ian Kiernan AO, Rob Cawthorne, Managing Director of the Carbon Reduction Institute [Australia's premium provider of carbon neutral certification] and a representative from the ABC green at work team.
- A leveraging pack - on how to leverage your association with Clean Up Australia Day
- Team Just 1 branding for use within your own promotional materials.
- A recorded thank you message from Ian Kiernan AO for use within your website.
- Access to Ian Kiernan AO for one speaking engagement during the year.
- Recognition on the Clean Up Australia Day website, together with a hotlink to your company website.
