Great Northern Clean Up 2010 We encourage communities, schools and businesses within the northern parts of Australia to organise a Clean Up site and get friends and family to participate in the Great Northern Clean Up over the weekend 11 – 12 September 2010. |
Year Round Clean Up As well as participating in the flagship Clean Up Australia Day event held on the first weekend in March, we encourage communities, schools and businesses to organise their own Clean Up Day events at any time of the year. |

About Clean Up Australia Day Every year hundreds of thousands of Australians get stuck in and clean up their local environment by collecting and removing rubbish on Clean Up Australia Day. The Clean Up Australia Day 2011 event will be held on Sunday, 6 March 2011. |

Clean Up Australia Day 2010 - Event Summary Over the entire campaign period an estimated 588,000 volunteers across Australia helped to celebrate 20 years of Clean Up Australia by donning a pair of gloves and filling up rubbish bags with approximately 15,560 tonnes of rubbish. |
