Championing Water Issues

Clean Up Australia is active in championing water issues in the community where the outcome leads to sustainable water management.

For example, Clean Up Australia has successully campaigned against the building of a desalination plant in Sydney, has advocated for a fair partnership between industry and government on water quality testing and has supported the Sydney fisherman when commercial fishing was banned.
