Council Clean Up Award

Every local Council in Australia who participated in the Clean Up Australia Day 2008 Campaign is eligible for entry in the Council Award.

The Award has been designed to recognise the efforts of Local Councils who engage, support and encourage their community to get involved in the campaign.

The Council that is deemed to have shown the most commitment to the Clean Up Australia Day Campaign will be awarded $5000 courtesy of Veolia Environment to be used for a community based environmental project.
