Millennium Kids is a unique organisation that is run by kids, for kids, aged 10-15 years and aims to encourage young people to be environmental leaders by being active and aware in their environment.

The Millennium Kids agenda is supported by the United Nations Agenda 21, Chapter 25, which states each country should have a process where kids have a say about the state of the environment and how it should be managed for future generations.
Millennium Kids not only have developed partnerships with all levels of government, corporate and community sectors, they have developed programs that answer their concerns about the environment.
Millennium Kids have been recognised as environmental leaders for their work in Western Australian State Government's Hope for the Future.
Millennium Kids provides opportunities for young people to develop their skills and be trained as:
Youth Ambassadors - promoting a positive voice of youth in the media and the community.
Media Monitors - producing the youth newsletter, media editorial highlighting projects and activities, managing the website and capturing events and projects on film.
Mentors and Volunteers - providing a way for older members to take on a role within Millennium Kids.
MK Green Teams Ten Steps - young people identify an environmental issue in their community, develop a plan of action to address this issue and then carry out a project that promotes positive environmental action.
Postcards to the New Millennium - an avenue for young people to have a say about the state of the environment.
Each year Millennium Kids runs a campaign to collect the ideas and opinions of young people. These Postcards are tabled at the Millennium Kids Helping Kids Conference and developed into the "Youth Challenges on the Environment" which are presented to local, state and federal parliament.
Millennium Kids Environmental Conference - where the Millennium Kids Committee develops a plan for their annual conference.
The conference is developed for kids by kids. The conference includes many environmental issues and practical ways for young people to solve them.
