1. Buy or make a worm-friendly farm (contact Reln Plastics on (02) 9605 9999 or your local Council) and place it in a cool, well-drained area.
2. Line the bin with a few sheets of shredded newspaper and a couple of handfuls of soil. Spray lightly with fresh water.
3. Add Tiger or Red Worms along with a small amount of food scraps.
4. Check on the progress in approximately a week and add some more food scraps. Make sure that you do not over feed your worms.
Once your worm farm is established your worms will produce worm castings that can be used as a rich fertiliser that can be used on any indoor or outdoor plants including your school lawns.
