IAN KIERNAN VOTED AUSTRALIA’S FOURTH MOST TRUSTED PERSON IN READER'S DIGEST POLL

Ian Kiernan voted Australia’s fourth most trusted person in Reader's Digest Poll

9 July 2010

Reader's Digest has announced the results of its 2010 Most Trusted People poll; with Clean Up Australia founder Ian Kiernan AO coming in fourth.

First place in this year’s poll went to burns specialist Fiona Wood, with cancer researcher Ian Frazer coming in second and Nobel Prize winner Elizabeth Blackburn coming in third.

Ian Kiernan said, “I think this poll reflects the confidence of the Australian public in the Clean Up Australia organization as a whole.

“365 days a year Clean Up Australia and Clean Up the World’s staff and volunteers work towards making our environment a better place.

“We’ve always focused on innovative, practical and effective solutions to problems that affect us all, something I think we’ve got in common with other high ranking poll identities.”
