Coles is a proud Gold Partner of Clean Up Australia, raising over $1 million since 2018 to help inspire communities to reduce litter, end waste and protect our environment. Now it’s your turn to get involved by hosting your own Coles Services Team Clean Up!

Join thousands of Australians making a difference while connecting with your team and caring for the environment. Get outdoors, improve your local area, strengthen team bonds, and support Coles’ commitment to a more sustainable future.

“Getting stuck into a Clean Up with my Coles colleagues has been a fantastic way to give back to the community. It’s hands-on, rewarding, and a simple way to make a real difference while helping to preserve Australia’s natural environment”

Scott Nicholson, Community Partnerships and Programs Manager, Corporate & Indigenous Affairs

Watch Pip Kiernan, Chair of Clean Up Australia talk about why it’s so important to get out with your teams and Clean Up our environment.

REGISTERING YOUR OWN CLEAN UP

Each team site must nominate an Event Supervisor and provide their contact details. This ensures your site is registered, and your team’s safety is managed on the day.

Pick a Clean Up spot near your team’s region. Parks, beaches, streets, or waterway – any safe area where you can remove litter and protect the environment. Tip: Cleaning suburban streets around your business can make a big impact. 95% of beach litter comes from rubbish washed from local streets into waterways. If you’re stuck for ideas on where to run your Clean Up, check out our litter hotspot list: CUA Litter Hotspots – Google Sheets

If your group expects to collect more litter than your local site or store bins can handle, contact your local council in advance to notify them of your Clean Up and arrange a collection point.

Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email with your event id number and a Clean Up* kit for 10** participants to help facilitate your event. This will include:

  • 10 x Large Bags (a mixture of general waste and recycling)
  • 10 x quality pair of reusable gloves (a mixture of small and medium)
  • 1 x Event Supervisor High Vis Vest
  • 1x Sharps Container
  • QR Code Volunteer Sign in Sheet

*Please allow up to 2 weeks from time of registration for your Clean Up kit to arrive

** Coles will provide additional cleaning supplies for events with more than 10 participants.

When registering, please name your event using the following format:
“COLES SERVICES: [STATE or CITY] [CLEAN UP LOCATION]”
