There are many ways that government bodies and organisations active in the waste industry and advocacy space can get involved with Clean Up Australia.

3 Steps to get Involved

All you need to do is go through our simple registration process, (which means you’re covered by our public liability insurance) and we will send you a free Clean Up Kit with bags and gloves.

Please make sure you allow a minimum of 10 working days between registering and your event, so we have time to deliver your kit direct to your door.

Step 1

Pick a location

Choose a spot near you that you think needs a Clean Up. Great choices include streets, beaches, parks, bushland, and riverbanks. Make sure your location is safe and accessible, and that you have a plan to dispose of the rubbish after the event.

If you need help picking a location, you can visit our litter hotspot list.

SPREAD THE WORD

Spread the word about your event and get ready to make a difference. You can invite volunteers and use our free promotional materials, including posters and social media tiles, to help rally your local community and encourage more people to get involved.

The last step? Have fun and get out there to make a positive change for our environment.

Advocacy Projects

We partner with organisations that are active in the waste industry, advocacy space, government and litter and waste prevention, to work together on impactful campaigns.
