One million single-use plastic bottles are sold around the world every minute.

According to reports from Clean Up Australia volunteers, beverage containers were the third most found litter category in FY24, representing 15.0% of all counted litter.

Cash in

Recycle your eligible drink containers through a CDS scheme to guarantee they will be recycled. Encourage your local schools, sports groups and community organisations to get involved and use CDS for fund raising.

Recycle Right

Putting containers in your recycling bin is a great way to make a difference.

And if you have the opportunity to cash in your bottles and cans, using a container refund point is even better because containers are easier to recycle when they are cleaner.
