Creating a Clean Up Event

BUSINESS CLEAN UP DAY - TUESDAY 27 FEBRUARY 2024

SCHOOLS CLEAN UP DAY - FRIDAY 1 MARCH 2024

CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY - SUNDAY 3 MARCH 2024

Creating a Clean Up is a great way to make a difference for our environment any day of the year!

You can register as an individual or community group, a business or a school. All you have to do is go through the registration process (which means you're covered by our public liability insurance) and we will send you a free Clean Up Kit including bags, gloves, information and promotional materials (please make sure you allow a minimum of ten working days between registering and your event day, so Amazon has time to deliver your kit to your door).

You can Clean Up Australia any day of the year – we know our waste challenges go far beyond one day.

Follow the 3 steps below to get involved

  • STEP 1: PICK A LOCATION

Choose a spot near you that you think needs a clean up. Great choices include beaches, parks, bushland and riverbanks.

Make sure your location is safe and accessible and that you have a plan to dispose of the rubbish after the event.

If you need help picking a location, you can consult our litter hotspot list.

  • STEP 2: REGISTER ONLINE

Complete the steps to register your clean up location online.

Make sure you leave two weeks between registering and your event day so we have time to post your kit to you.
